In collaboration with associate professor Farshad Moradi from Aarhus University we invite you to join us for this workshop on modeling piezoelectric devices.
Piezoelectric devices are inherently multiphysics in nature and thus an obvious simulation to setup in COMSOL Multiphysics, including the coupling to other physics like e.g. acoustics.
You will see how to model a piezoelectric crystal coupled with an electrical circuit. We will also discuss the implementation of a rotated coordinate system to define the crystal's orientation independently from the specified geometry. Finally, we will see how the coupling to other physics, like e.g. acoustics are easily handled.
The workshop includes a hands-on session where you can try out COMSOL Multiphysics on a tutorial model and discuss you own models.
The workshop is relevant for new users and existing users that wants to model piezoelectric devices.
